od1The ONLY Game of High-Finance, Big Risk Banking and Corporate Take-Overs all played out on a wee little Board. KenMGames’ most expensive product to date! This one nearly bankrupted us in the field testing alone. Definitely a fun time, but a little too rich for my tastes!

Ages: 7(ish)+

Players: 2

Interesting Features: A little like Checkers (Draughts) and a little like Chess but nothing much like High-Finance, Big Banking, or Corporate Take-Overs. The twist is in the playing of interest earned (enemy pieces captured) or calling out a loan to see you to the end of the game!

Extras Needed: A bunch of coins (Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, “Loonies”, and “Toonies” … for those of you in other countries those are $1 and $2 respectively. Don’t fret, you can usually pick them up for about $0.25 US!)

Printing Suggestions: Two Boards are included and can be printed as you need. They should be enlarged a little (Loonies and Toonies don’t quite fit)

Designer’s Notes: For a while I got onto this crazy “how can I take the world’s most popular game (Chess) and make it into something way less … challenging … popular … fun … Right around the same time I had a really strange thing happen, I found that I had some spare change for once.
